Bergen County District Suddenly Terminates Super, Hires New One With Double Doctorates Ramapo-lndian Hills Regional High School has hired a new superintendent. In a unanimous vote on Tuesday, May 28, the RIH Board of Education voted 9-0 in favor of approving Dr. Ronnie Tarchichi's contract, which goes into effect July 1. The board also voted 7-0 with two abstentions to terminate the contract of interim superintendent Dr. James Baker. When asked about the sudden termination of Baker's contract, the BOE declined to comment on personnel matters. The Drew University biology department chair from Madison was one of 105 past winners called up to play against each other. Barker's prior episodes aired in July 2022. MSU Student Breanna Pifano, 20, Dies Weeks After Suffering Cardiac Event Breanna Pifano, a 20-year-old student at Montclair State University, died on Monday, Sept. 18, after suffering a cardiac event earlier this month, according to her obituary. Breanna was born on Dec. 18, 2002 and was in her third year at MSU studying biology, with aspirations of becoming an optometrist.  A fundraiser was set up to assist the family with medical and funeral expenses. She was 25. Born in Denville, Hipper grew up in Glenwood and graduated from Vernon High School, her obituary says. Hipper then went on to earn a degree from Fortis Institute and was preparing to work as a bio technician, according to her memorial. Hipper was known for her passion for nature and animals.
