Covid-19: All Bergen Schools Closed Indefinitely Schools in all 75 Bergen County districts will shut down indefinitely at the close of Friday's school day in a bid to stem the spread of the coronavirus, County Executive Jim Tedesco said Thursday night. Bergen schools will be closed after 3 p.m. Friday, giving staff the rest of the day and all weekend to prepare for online learning, he said.
