More than three-quarters of a million Honda and Acura vehicles are being recalled due to potentially faulty air bags that could cause them to deploy unexpectedly.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that the motor vehicle giant is recalling upwards of 750,000 cars, SUVs, minivans, and pick-up trucks due to the malfunctioning air bags, which could pose a safety hazard, the agency says.

Honda, Acura Recalling 2.5M Vehicles For Defective Fuel Pumps That Can Cause Stalling
More than two million Honda and Acura vehicles are being subject to a national recall due to fuel pumps that could be defective and cause engines to stall while driving.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that upwards of 2.5 million vehicles are subject to the recall, which covers a host of different makes and models.

Honda Recalling Nearly 250K Vehicles Due To Engine Concerns
Honda is recalling nearly 250,000 vehicles due to damaged engines that can run improperly or stall while driving, increasing the risk of a fire, crash, or injury.
This week, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that 248,999 vehicles have been subject to the recall, which spans several years and different model types.
According to officials, due to a manufacturing error, "the connecting rod bearing in the engine may wear and seize, damaging the engine."

An out-of-state motorist who was stopped for talking on his cellphone had a gun loaded with hollow-point bullets in a high-capacity magazine in his glove compartment, Little Ferry police said.
Officer James Serio spotted the 2017 Acura sedan with tinted windows in the area of eastbound Route 46 and Bergen Turnpike shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday, Police Chief James Walters said.

Feds: Ring In NJ, NY Used GPS To Track Vehicles Before Stealing, Reselling Them Online
FBI agents arrested the ringleader of a Newark-based, multi-state ring whose members attached GPS devices to vehicles to determine where and when it was easiest to steal them, authorities said.
Members of the ring run by Warren Guerrier, 43, of Newark “scouted out vehicles at apartment complexes, hotels, or shopping centers in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland,” U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said Wednesday.
