Fair Lawn Students Excel On College & Career Preparedness Exams

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Fair Lawn students performed above the state average on the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers testing, according to NorthJersey.com.

The test is administered to students in grades three through 11. In grades three through eight. Third graders showed the widest gap, scoring a 74 percent versus a state average of 45 percent, NorthJersey.com said.

The tests are aligned with Common Core Standards and were administered for the first time last year, NorthJersey.com said.
