Bergen Grassroots To Award Retired Judge Peter Doyne The Byron Baer Award

TEANECK, N.J. -- Bergen Grassroots will present the Byron Baer Award for Public Service to immediate past Bergen County Assignment Judge Peter Doyne in a ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Teaneck Library Auditorium.

BGR, which is dedicated to transparency in government, is honoring Doyne for his “major contributions to New Jersey’s evolving open government traditions.”

State Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg and former State Comptroller Matthew Boxer, both prior recipients of the Baer Award, will join in the presentation.

The Teaneck Library is located at 840 Teaneck Road.
