River Vale has consistently had the largest number of academy members per capita in Bergen County — and often throughout the state. This year’s graduating class had 142 participants.
Tonight’s event is expected to draw 500 people, River Vale Police Sgt. John J. DeVoe said.
Also on hand will be the Paramus Police Department Honor Guard and the Police Pipes and Drums of Bergen County.
Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
