One is 14 and the other 15, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said, without disclosing the exact nature of the medical emergencies.
The chief didn't confirm a source's contention that the boys had been using vapes.
In a release, Ackermann wrote:
"At 12:29 p.m., Glen Rock PD along with Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the Glen Rock High School in response to a 9-1-1 report of two students in the nurse’s office who were experiencing an unknown medical emergency.
"Two males, ages 14 and 15, were subsequently transported to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood for emergent medical attention.
"As a matter of procedure the school instituted a 'hold in place' protocol to keep students and staff clear of the hallways while emergency personnel provided aid.
"All normal activity resumed at the school shortly thereafter. Due to healthcare privacy issue no further information is available to the public," Ackerman wrote.
Both students were reportedly home Tuesday night.
