Trail of jewelry found after Glen Rock burglary

FROM THE WEEKEND: Whoever broke into a Glen Rock house either headed into or over the weekend left a trail of jewelry on the front walk and lawn after apparently getting spooked, police said.

The break-in on Hamilton Avenue happened between 3 p.m. Friday and the same time Saturday, police said.

The rear window of the home off a deck was found smashed, they said.

They may have parked a car nearby, “where it would have attracted less attention than right in front of someone’s home,” police said.
