The rig was headed west on Harristown Road near Romary Court when it hit the pole around 8:20 a.m.
The pole snapped, and the top crashed onto the roof of the trailer.
The driver wasn’t injured.
However, Harristown Road was blocked in both directions between Glen Avenue and Rodney Street for more than two hours while PSE&G helped clear the mess.
The utility reported only one home losing power during the incident.
