Time for ‘Hooray for Helmets’ program for Fair Lawn youngsters

SHOUT OUT: Fair Lawn police will be issuing “tickets” for free ice cream and frozen yogurt at local businesses to children spotted wearing helmets while on their bicycles, scooters or skateboards.

Continuing a program that began seven years ago, “Hooray for Helmets” debuts this summer on Monday, July 15, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Fair Lawn.

Those participating, while supplies last:
