Temp worker, 33, had sex with 12-year-old girl, Bergen prosecutor says

A 33-year-old temp agency employee is charged with statutory rape for having sex with a 12-year-old girl, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

Emanuel Hernandez, of 12 Belmont Avenue in Garfield, is being held on $250,000 cash bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated sexual assault (the statutory equivalent of rape) and child endangerment, after he was questioned by detectives from Molinelli‘s Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit.

They were summoned by Garfield police, the prosecutor said, although he didn‘t say how the alleged relationship came to light.
