Station wagon hits tree in Glen Rock

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: The driver of a Volkswagen Passat station wagon sustained non-life-threatening injuries on Thursday afternoon when his vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree on Harristown Road near the Hamilton School in Glen Rock.

Members of the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported the victim to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood for treatment.

Damage to the vehicle was extensive: It was towed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck.

Glen Rock police handled the accident investigation.
