Postal deliverer injured in Glen Rock crash

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A U.S. Postal Service letter carrier was cut by broken glass and had his neck placed in a brace after his van collided with a Ford Explorer in Glen Rock earlier today.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Delmar Avenue and Pinelynn Road.

Although no summonses were issued, Glen Rock police said they were investigating. They also noted that there’s a stop sign at the corner, although they didn’t say which driver had it.

The victim was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Both vehicles were removed by flat bed tow trucks.

Responding were Glen Rock police and Ambulance Corps members, as well as Valley paramedics.
