YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST: A tractor-trailer tipped and smashed into a utility pole on a sharp bend near its plant in Fair Lawn this morning, spilling thousands of empty beer bottles onto the roadway.

The Global Transport driver sustained a minor wrist injury and was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood following the Pollitt Drive crash around 7:45 a.m., police said.

Things got worse, though: As the rig was being righted, the green Rolling Rock bottles spilled out the side.

Fair Lawn police, firefighters and EMS workers responded, along with PSE&G. A backhoe was needed to offload the bottles.

Politt was temporarily closed in the area while the wreckage was cleared and repairs were made.
