Glen Rock Volunteer Fire Department Swears In New Officers At Annual Dinner

GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- The Glen Rock Volunteer Fire Department swore in all of the officers during its annual installation dinner on Saturday, Jan. 9. 

Former Mayor John Van Keuren was presented with a plague honoring him for his many years of support to the department.

During the dinner former Mayor John Van Keuren was presented with a plaque honoring him for his many years of support to the department. He was also informed that the membership has voted him on as an Honorary Member of the GRFD.

Members of the GRFD were also presented with length of service strips for their uniforms with each stripe denoting 5 years of service with the department. 

The 2016 Officers sworn in by new Mayor Bruce Parker were: Chief: Thomas Jennings, Assistant Chief: Arthur Zanotti, Captain: Mike Aguilar, Lieutenant: William Burbano, Lieutenant: Pete Flannery, Lieutenant: Carmine Nogara, Lieutenant: Thomas Pimlott, Company Officers: President: Kevin Walter, Vice President: Matthew Sellitti, Treasurer: Bruce Rigg, Secretary: Maurice Lemieux
