Glen Rock Police: Driver Who Gave Fake Name Had 2 Outstanding Warrants

GLEN ROCK, N.J. — The Glen Rock Police during a motor vehicle stop arrested a Haskell man who initially gave police a false name and was found to have two outstanding warrants, authorities said.

Last Wednesday just after 5:30 p.m., Detective Michael Trover arrested a 49-year-old Haskell man who was wanted by the Morris County Superior Court on a no bail contempt warrant, as well as a warrant issued by the Ringwood Municipal Court with $3,000 bail, Glen Rock police said in a press release.

The man, driving on De Boer Drive, was also arrested for hindering apprehension after he attempted to evade arrest by giving the detective a false name, police said.

After being processed at police headquarters, the man was turned over to the custody of the Morris County Sheriff’s Department.
