"The matter is being handled through the facility he is confined to," Police Chief Dean Ackermann said Monday.

Detective Jim Calaski investigated the suspicious Aug. 19 call, which police at the time deemed unfounded.

A Northwest Bergen Central Dispatch received the call of a possible threat against a school building or active public facility on a non-emergency phone line, Ackermann said.
