First Fair Lawn police Narcan save rescues Park Ridge woman, 23

SHOUT OUT: Fair Lawn police had their first Narcan save after they found a 23-year-old heroin overdose victim from Park Ridge in her car.

The woman was taken by Saddle Brook Ambulance to Bergen Regional Medical Center after Officers Luis Vasquez and Kevin Wood found her in a car parked at the Dunkin Donuts on Broadway at 4:22 a.m. Sunday, Sgt. Brian Metzler said this afternoon.

Vasquez administered two doses of nasal Naloxone, who “became responsive a short time later.”
