Fair Lawn Police Local Lauds Benefactors In Bergen County PBA Toy Drive

SHOUT OUT: Fair Lawn police on Tuesday met with some of their benefactors as officer from dozens of agencies prepared to the Closter firehouse Wednesday morning for the 28th annual Bergen County PBA Toy Drive for sick, needy and terminally ill youngsters.

ShopRite added $1,000 to the amount raised by Justin Fingeroth of Epic Entertainment and Tommy Perides of Biaggio's (The Terrace) to bring the total to $2,700.

"We certainly have a lot more people to thank who made this whole Toy Drive a huge success," PBA Local 67 President Luis Vasquez said, as officers

prepared to take dozens of donated toys to the Closter firehouse Wednesday morning.

They include the Fair Lawn Football Association, St. Leon's, students of the Forest School -- who raised money to buy 20 Build-A-Bears -- and various residents and merchants.

Radburn Exxon also served as a drop-off point.
