Fair Lawn Police ID House Fire Victims, 67, 60

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Fair Lawn police on Wednesday identified two women killed in a Monday night fire at an assisted living facility as Marilyn Beasley, 67, and Marcy Strager, 60.

Rovetto "said he could see two other victims in a room but he couldn't get back in because of the intensity of the fire."

Both died of smoke inhalation, Sgt. Brian Metzler said.

The surviving victims were identified as Elaine Demona, 69, and Dorothy Gerano, 54.

Police got both women out of the Berkshire Road home. One was rescued from an upstairs window.
