Fair Lawn police arrest Rockland couple with 107 bags of heroin

A Rockland couple was found with 107 bags of heroin in their car after the driver tossed a used heroin fold out the window, Fair Lawn police said.

Theodore Niforos, 24, of Pomona and 23-year-old Jennifer Coogan of Stony Point were taken into custody by Officer Brian Rypkema in the parking lot of Lukoil Gas & Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 208 Tuesday afternoon.

“During questioning, Niforos admitted to having 2 bricks of heroin inside the vehicle,” Sgt. Brian Metzler said.

Coogan, meanwhile, was found with a hypodermic needle and an arrest warrant out of Elmwood Park, he said.

Both were chargd with various drug counts.

Niforos was released and Coogan turned over to Elmwood Park police.
