The 37-year-old victim, from Fair Lawn, was taken by ambulance to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood at around 7:30 a.m., moments after the crash, Sgt. Brian Metzler told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

She sustained head and leg injuries that weren’t believed to be life-threatening, he said.

The driver — a 58-year-old woman from Fair Lawn driving a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer — wasn’t charged.

However, an investigation was continuing.
