Daniel Reynoso of Hackensack told Fair Lawn police that "he was chased by two unknown [men] from Broadway and entered through the unlocked front door, then locked it behind him to get away," Sgt. Brian Metzler said.

The woman confronted him and called the officers, who took Reynoso into custody Monday afternoon, charged him with burglary and released him pending further court action.

Reynoso, 34, has been taken into custody on adult criminal charges more than two dozen times over the past 17 years -- including for drug court violations.

He's spent a total of three weeks in the Bergen County Jail in connection with three separate arrests this year alone, records show.

Reynoso already was free without bail after Paramus police last month charged him with shoplifting.New Milford police in late April said they stopped Reynoso's car and found him and his girlfriend with their two children while carrying several bags of heroin, hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia.
