The worker chased James E. Porch, 32, from the River Road store on Monday to the Maple Avenue Bridge, where he brandished the scissors, Sgt. Sean Macys told Daily Voice.

Fair Lawn police found and arrested Porch a short time later at 2nd Ave and 24th Street in Paterson.

Porch, who was positively identified by the employee, was wanted on a warrant out of Elmwood Park, records show.

He remained held without bail Wednesday in the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing on charges of robbery, simple assault, weapons possession and shoplifting.
