TRIBUTE: The morning was still as the names of three Fair Lawn residents killed in the 9/11 terror attacks on America were read outside Borough Hall, and a Flag of Honor with the names of all the victims was unfurled.

Susan Huie, Jennifer Lynn Kane and Richard David Rosenthal were recalled by those gathered in the Memorial Garden on Parmalee Avenue around 9 a.m. Also mentioned Frank Connor who was killed in the terrorist bombing of Fraunces Tavern on Wall Street in 1975.

Taps was played. A moment of silence was held.

Among those attending: Mayor John Cosgrove, Council members Lisa Swain and Kurt Peluso, former Fair Lawn Mayor Marty Etler, State Sen. Bob Gordon, Bergen County Freeholder David Ganz and Bergen County Clerk John Hogan.
