Fair Lawn construction worker charged with molesting girl, 10

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A series of sex assaults on a 10-year-old girl that began the past few weeks and “gradually escalated in severity” led to the arrest of a 44-year-old construction worker from Fair Lawn Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli announced this afternoon.

Jose G. Anguiano was being held on $250,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with sexual assault by contact and two counts of child endangerment.

Anguiano, who is married, was arrested yesterday by members of Molinelli’s Special Victims Unit and the Fair Lawn police after the girl’s father notified authorities. He has a June 26 initial appearance scheduled in Fair Lawn Municipal Court.
