Two children who were in one of the vehicles were evaluated at the scene and deemed to not need medical attention.
The crashes occurred on westbound Fair Lawn Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets.
Four ambulances took the victims to the hospital — none with what were considered life-threatening injuries, emergency workers said — while flatbed trucks towed away the vehicles.
A minor fluid spill was cleaned up by a towing company employee.
