Teresio Castrourdiales, 42, was headed east on Broadway around 8:30 p.m. when he lost control of the van at Iozia Terrace, Police Chief Michael Foligno said.
After toppling the traffic signal, the van veered across the median, hopped a curb and slammed into the cleaners’ plate-glass window, he said.
Castrourdiales, who wasn’t injured, was issued summonses for DWI, refusing to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving and separate tickets for driving an unregistered vehicle and uninsured vehicle.
He was released to a family member pending a court appearance, the chief said.
Broadway was closed in both directions for two hours and the eastbound side for another 2½ hours.
Foligno thanked Fair Lawn police, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office and Elmwood Park firefighters.
