He was preceded by his wife, Julia (Nauta) Giannone, and his siblings, Mateo Giannone, Carmela Farrell, Frances Cascone and Jean O'Donnell.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, March 6, at the Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Rd., in Fair Lawn. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow, at George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.
