FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Paula A. Schamber, of Fair Lawn, died Monday, Nov. 7. She was 84.
She was born and raised in Palisades Park and resided in Fair Lawn for 50 years. Prior to retiring, she was an accounts payable assistant with General Foam in Paramus for many years.
She is survived by her husband, David William Schamber; children, John Schamber and wife Susan and William Schamber and wife Kathleen; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, William and Joshua; and siblings, Donald Kurza, Majorie Figgis and the late Al and Marie.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday with a 5 p.m. service at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Valley Hospital Foundation, 223 North Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
