Hotchkiss, a Waterbury, Conn. native, served in Glen Rock from May 1965 to June 1987.
He was also a member of the New Jersey Legion having served in the U.S. Navy. Hotchkiss married his wife, Caroline Peterman, who died in 1998.
He is survived by his son, Wayne (Jackie) Martin Hotchkiss; daughter, Sallie (Mark) Anne Carson; sisters, Marueen McNulty and Kate Nelson (Dot Johnston); and four grandchildren, Seth, Hayley, Sarah and Hunter.
