FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Catherine M. Conte (nee Minardi), 98, of Fair Lawn, passed away with her family around her Tuesday July 5, 2016.
Born and raised in Lodi, she lived there most of her life before moving to Fair Lawn eight years ago.
She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Conte Sr.; mother of Carol Nelke and her husband Richard and Anthony J. Conte Jr., his wife Maryann; sister of Andrew Minardi, the late Angelina Ristuccia and Vincent Minardi; grandmother of Deneen Belardino and her husband Daniel, Richard A. Nelke Jr. and his wife Jeanette and David Nelke and his wife Laura; and great-grandmother of Karissa, Ryan, Aiden, Jack, Benjamin and Harrison. She also is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
There will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 188 MacArthur Ave., Garfield. Interment wull be in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi.
There will be a private family viewing from 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home Inc., 274 Market St., Elmwood Park.
