GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Anne C. (Chernak) Cilurzo, a Glen Rock resident and formerly of Brooklyn and Franklyn Square, died Sunday, Jan. 3. She was 92.
Cilurzo earned a bachelor's of science in nursing and was a nurse with Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus for 38 years, before retiring in 1988.
She is survived by her children, Nancy Cilurzo and Jack Cilurzo and his wife Lisa; grandchildren Lauren Handel and husband Jeff Kenningseder, Alison Cilurzo, Elizabeth Mania, Michele Cilurzo, and Mara Cilurzo; and sister Mary Martin.
Cilurzo was predeceased by her husband, Augustine J. Cilurzo.
A memorial service is planned for 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn.
