No Knock:
This ordinance would allow the creation of a "no-knock" registry that residents could put their name on, intending to limit solicitations.
"We are in the process of researching some limitations," Mayor Bruce Packer told Daily Voice.
"We may not be able to prevent political groups, religious groups, or non-profits from going door to door."
AirBnB:
This ordinance is intended to avoid a situation where someone turns their home into a short-term rental, primarily to protect neighbors from the potential for an undesirable situation.
AirBnB is peer-to-peer online marketplace and homestay network that allows people to list or rent short-term lodging in residential properties, with the cost of such accommodation set by the property owner, its website says.
