Grateful Doggies Seeking Volunteers, Donations

HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- Grateful Doggies Canine Freedom Transport Company is seeking donations and volunteers.

Besides monetary donations, Grateful Doggies hopes to collect food, flea and tick collars, leashes, playpens and toys, among other items.

Items such as Kuranda beds, puppy pads, treats, flea and tick prevention, food (preferably from Gold), leashes, harnesses, collars, jackets and chew toys are needed. Donations can be dropped off at JB Pet Supplies in Hawthorne at 289 Wagaraw Road or mailed to Grateful Doggies, 560 Route 17, Middletown, NY 10940.

Volunteers are also needed for home visits, dog walks, fosters, local transports, reference checks, application review, donation collection and more.
