FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Fair Lawn’s Celinda Ortega will soon be competing in the Miss New Jersey pageant.
The pageant officially kicks off Wednesday evening with a parade on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
Ortega, who holds the title of Miss Bergen County 2017, will start competing against 27 other beauty queens from throughout the state on in Ocean City on Thursday, and the next Miss New Jersey will be crowned on Saturday.
The winner will go on to compete in the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City in September.
