Cantin is suffering from painful, terminal cancer that had spread to her brain.
Her husband Bruce, daughter Jordanna (15) and her elderly mother are doing their best to care for her.
The Cantin's keep a kosher-style kitchen and are in need of home-cooked meals, as well as donations.
