Nearly A Decade Gone, Glen (Punk) Rockers Titus Andronicus Return To Bergen

GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Back in Bergen County after nearly a decade, the post-punk band Titus Andronicus returns to its roots with an all-ages show this Friday in Hasbrouck Heights.

Founding member and lead vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stickles brings the band to the Hasbrouck Heights VFW Hall on Springfield Avenue off Route 17 from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday.

Forged in Glen Rock in 2005, the band that takes its name from a Shakespeare play has released four albums, toured the world and opened for, among others, the Pogues, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Lucero and has played at Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Roskilde.

Titus also performed on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and "Last Call with Carson Daly," and had songs included on the TV shows "Bored to Death" and "Elementary" and the movie "Premium Rush."
