The Fair Lawn resident opened the "real-life, adventure and mystery game," she said.
Like books and movies, the game tells a story, she said, and can make people feel like they're part of those stories.
"In my room, players will discover an interesting story of two adventurers that will transport the players to the early 1900’s," Umansky said. "That is how 'The Other Tales – Escape Rooms' differs from many other rooms out there that focus mainly on puzzles."
A small team of players work together on a set of connected puzzles, and they need to solve the game in under one hour.
