FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- A local author will give a talk on Thursday at the Fair Lawn Library about her latest book. The library hosts local author, Margie Gelbwasser, as she discusses her writing and Russian/Jewish roots.
The talk begins at 7 p.m. and participants are asked to bring in a new teddy bear or backpack to share with a needy child.
This is a tie-in with the "One Book, One Community" program ("A Backpack, A Bear and Eight Crates of Vodka") of the Jewish Federation of North Jersey.
