FAIR LAWN, N.J. — If you thought that Oreos taste different lately, you are not alone. Some people are saying that the cookie's manufacturer, Nabisco — which has a Fair Lawn plant — may have changed the recipe.
Do Oreos Taste Different?
- Nope, same old cookie to me!
- Much different.
New York Post reporter Lauren Tousignant did some digging and chronicled her discovery in a recent article.
"I turned to the internet," she wrote. "Reddit was annoyingly quiet on the topic, but when I typed 'Oreo cookies taste' into Google, the first autofill was 'different.'"
Oreos replied to a comment on its Facebook page that no changes were made to the recipe, the article says.
Several people also commented on PissedConsumer.com: "Oreos have a faint after taste of something spoiled," one person wrote.
