Purim Fun Run, 1-Mile Walk In Fair Lawn

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The 4th annual Purim 5K Fun Run and 1-Mile Walk will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 6.

More than 900 runners and walkers took advantage of unseasonably warm temperatures to participate in the Jingle Bell 5k Walk/Run for the Arthritis Foundation.

The event is presented by the Sisterhood of the Fair Lawn Jewish Center and Congregation B'nai Israel.

The race will start in the Fair Lawn Jewish Center's parking lot and end in the Congregation B'nai Israel parking lot. T-shirts will be given to the first 100 entrants and all the proceeds go to the TIKVAH program of Camp Ramah, an overnight camp for children with special needs.

There will be a DJ,, clowns and prizes will be awarded for top male/female winners in each age group.

Register online or on-site on race day beginning at 8:30 a.m. The fee is $20 in advance or $25 on race day. Family registration of two adults plus children is $50.
