March Brings Purim 5K To Fair Lawn

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The Sisterhood of the Fair Lawn Jewish Center and Congregation B'nai Israel are planning the fourth annual Purim 5K Fun Run & 1 Mile Walk.

The event will take place Sunday, March 6, at 10 a.m.

The race will start in the FLJC parking lot and end in the CBI parking lot. T-shirts will be given to the first 100 entrants, and all proceeds go to the Tikvah program of Camp Ramah, an overnight camp for children with special needs. Runners are encouraged to come in costume.

Festivities will include a DJ and clowns. Prizes will be awarded for top male/female winners and age groups.

Fee is $20 in advance or $25 race day.
