Glen Rock's Sikh Temple Holds Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

GLEN ROCK, N.J. — An interfaith Thanksgiving service for Glen Rock's religious communities will be held on Wed. Nov. 23.

The 7:30 p.m.service will be held at the Gurudwara Sikh Temple on Prospect Street.

Following the Sikh tradition, worshippers, should wear a head covering and expect to remove their shoes upon entering the worship space.

Worshippers will also be seated on the carpeted floor of the temple’s sanctuary, with men on one side and women on the other. 

Chairs will be provided to those who need one.

Both a monetary and non-perishable food offering will be taken to benefit The Social Services Association of Ridgewood (www.ssaridgewood.org) and The Center for Food Action (www.cfanj.org).
