Fair Lawn Library Offers New Programs

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — The Fair Lawn Public Library announces upcoming events and new benefits for patrons, courtesy of the Friends of the Maurice M. Pine Public Library.

  • Barcodes: The library now accepts library barcodes on any smartphone barcode app. Download an app such as Card Star or Key Ring to store your barcodes on your phone. Use it just as you would the physical card. Be aware that not all libraries have access to scanners that accept barcodes from phones. Bring your physical card when traveling to other libraries.
  • Museum Passes: Passes to the Montclair Art Museum can now be borrowed. Two adults and all children under 18 may visit the museum free of charge. Passes will be loaned for 7 days and may be reserved 24 hours in advance. Stop by the Reference Desk or call 201-796-3400/extension 5 for more information.
  • Arts and Crafts: For adults on Friday, Feb. 26 from 2-4 p.m. Collages will be made.
  • Movie: “Bridge of Spies” will be shown on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 1:30 p.m.
