Fair Lawn Beekeeper Trades Honey For Business Help

FAIR LAWN, N.J. – A young beekeeper from Fair Lawn is offering honey to people who donate toward helping him grow his business.

“I’ll be happy to donate a free jar of honey to anyone who donates over $50,” Ivan Wei wrote on a GoFundMe page he created.

Wei – who describes himself as a beekeeper, urban farmer and green landscaper – said “I love keeping bees and want beekeeping to be a central aspect of what I do.”

To help him develop a successful and sustainable business, Wei is raising funds to attend an advanced bee course and purchase a larger vehicle to haul around his bee and lawn equipment.
