Two juveniles were arrested and charged on Thursday, Jan. 25 for a November shooting in Hoboken, authorities said.
On Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 11:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 300 block of Jackson Street and found three shell casings, Hoboken police said. Soon after, Jersey City police found four men matching the description of the suspects and arrested all four, including the two juveniles, on weapons charges, police said.

A 36-year-old Bloomfield man was convicted of murdering Jahque Benbow, a 23-year-old gas station attendant in May 2022, prosecutors announced.

Anton Mair, a 28-year-old Jersey City man was arrested on Thursday, July 13 for the fatal shooting of Khalil King back in April, authorities said.
On Sunday, April 23 at midnight, the Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired on Danforth Avenue, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Upon arrival, they found King, a 23-year-old North Carolina resident, unresponsive inside a store at 152 Danforth Ave. suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, Suarez said. In Feb. 2019, while dealing cocaine and heroin near a Newark public housing complex, Watson got a gun, walked toward Fred Sims, a 29-year-old Newark resident, and shot him in the head, Stephens said.

One of two armed robbers and their getaway driver have been captured in Linden, with the second robber at large, authorities announced Wednesday, May 31.
On Thursday, May 17, police responded to a report of a robbery at gunpoint by two men armed with ski masks on the 1400 block of S. Wood Ave, Captain Christopher Guenther of the Linden Police Department said. The suspects fled the scene in a black Nissan driven by a woman, Guenther said.
