NJ: State Prison ‘Hit Squad’ Run By Latin King Targeted Inmates, Corrections Investigators Members of a state prison hit squad assembled by a Latin Kings leader beat one fellow inmate and were about to attack another when corrections officials got wind of their plans, New Jersey's top law enforcement officer said Thursday. GOT 'EM! Pair Nabbed In Robbery Of Linden 7-Eleven Two men were arrested in the robbery of a Linden convenience store after a three-week investigation, police said. Lawrence Thomas, 29, of Plainfield, and Travis Price, 28, of Linden, were  charged with first-degree robbery for their alleged roles in the Feb. 21 incident, Linden Police Lt. Christopher Guenther said. Police responded to the 7-Eleven store on St. George Avenue around 10:15 p.m., on reports of a robbery.
