Caught Red-Handed: Newark Burglar Trio Crash Into Cop Car While Fleeing NY Scene Three  New Jersey men were arrested after they quite literally ran into police on the way back from the scene of a Long Island crime, police said. The crash happened on Saturday, Jan. 13 in the Nassau County village of Lake Success, according to Nassau County Police. Just before 3 a.m. that day, the three men reportedly attempted to burgle a home on Meadow Woods Road. Trio Busted With Ammo, Stolen Guns: Newark PD Three men were arrested in Newark after police found two with stolen guns and one with ammunition, authorities said. Trouble began when officers patrolling Rose Street saw a speeding car turning from Brenner Street onto 18th Avenue, then Winans Avenue around 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, Interim Newark Public Safety Director Raul Malave said.
