Police responded to Sagres Bar & Grill, at 44-50 Prospect Street, on a call of a male with a knife threatening workers around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, Newark Public Safety Fritz G. Fragé said. The male entered the restaurant and went behind the bar. When confronted by a worker, he pointed a knife he took from behind the bar at the worker. Man Beat Hotel Concierge During 11-Day Crime Spree Across Newark: Police Authorities in Newark captured a man who beat a hotel concierge sending him to the hospital in the midst of an 11-day burglary spree, they said. Bryant Dudley, 36, was captured on surveillance video breaking into a laundromat, deli, clothing boutique, nail salon and two banks between April 10 and 21, Newark Public Safety Director Brian A.
